There's no need to guess. Now you can access the new Waco Weather Station Online Data.weather stationn data

Here you can access local weather data such as rainfall, soil moisture, temperature and even wind speed. All the data is collected at the new Water Utilities sponsored weather station located at Cottonwood Creek Golf Course.

This new online tool will even let you know exactly how much water your lawn currently needs. You just input your type of grass, amount of shade and sprinkler flow and the sytem calculates how long you need to run your sprinklers.

Drought Contingency Plan

In order to conserve the available water supply and protect the integrity of supply facilities, fire protection, and to protect and preserve public health, welfare, and to minimize the adverse impacts of water supply shortage or other water supply emergency conditions, the City of Waco has adopted a Drought Contigency Plan through Ordinance No. 2009 – 221.
