Windmill Hill Area Access Closure

Monday, January 25 and Tuesday, January 26, access to and from the Windmill Hill area by way of Hillcrest Drive will be completely blocked to repair a break in a large water valve.

Residents will need to use Westchester Drive and Greenleaf Drive to enter and exit the area.

Water service will not be interrupted.

An additional closure will be necessary in the future, in order to complete the repair. Residents will be notified of the additional closure.

This closure is necessary to replace a very large water valve that was placed into operation in the 1960's. The broken valve is on a large raw water line that carries water from Lake Waco to the Mt. Carmel Water Treatment Plant.
